I recently read an article by artist Jack White about selling art on ebay. Although he is a famous and successful artist, he experimented with ebay as a fictional unknown artist to find out just what could be achieved by a newbie. After three years of selling his art through auctions only, he knows now that he could make a decent living through selling art on ebay should he ever need to. Through his writing about the experience he shares his newfound wisdom with others like me and coaches all who want to take his advice.
Well I've taken his lessons to heart. I started listing some various pieces on ebay using his tips. This beach scene is the first oil painting I've posted for sale. I will be doing lots of new works as well as selling some drawings and prints I've completed in the last couple of years.
